![]() ![]() I.Adding the game path at exceptions doesnt do the trick. For clarification the path would be X:\Folder Y\UT 3 (game folder) in this case and the game appeares in the exception list as listed. Ok ,i ve done some researching by myself into the issue with UT 3 Is there something I can try?, I don't know if I can enable some kind of log on BitDefender to help to track this issue. I would like to know if anyone else is having this issue. I have even completely disabled PhysX on this game, ran the game benchmark, and the result is the same: stops, freezes and stutters. I am a long time PC gamer and I can tell you that BitDefender is causing this issue.īelieve me, it's not PhysX / ATI problem, my system also has a GeForce 9600GT for PhysX, I play with PhysX on high and I get constant 60fps whenever BitDefender is disabled (and I have finished the game). BTW CPU, memory and graphics card ARE NOT overclocked at all, everything is at default speed. My system runs stable, it's got an 800W PSU and runs perfectly Prime95 and every test I throw at him. I bet it's a compatibility problem between BitDefender and Windows 7, because as soon as I disable BitDefender, the game is smooth as silk. I'm not talking about slow FPS like 10 or 15, I'm talking about a full game stop, the image freezes, FRAPS says 0. I had this problem too with my previous card, a 4870x2. In 8 days I must decide if I continue another year with BitDefender or I look elsewhere Is there any known problem with this game?. I have also upgraded the graphics card a week ago, but it's freezes with both the old and the new card. Oh, I have fully reinstalled Windows before I tried to disable BitDefender because I didn't know what was happening. By the way, I have installed BitDefender using the "gamer" profile when it asked me. It does not matter if Game Mode is enabled or not, the game freezes at the benchmark. Once it has finished loading, the game freezes a lot too, making it unplayable at some moments. When I load a saved game it takes a lot of time. ![]() ![]() Average and max are normal, but minimum framerate is 0, because the game stops. At the end of the benchmark, you get the minimum, average and max framerate. The easiest way to notice it is to run the game benchmark, a floating camera does a fly-through in various game levels. However when the antivirus is enabled (even with Game Mode activated), the game freezes completely all the time. With BitDefender disabled the game runs perfectly smooth, it loads a savegame in seconds and I have no slowdowns at all. I have recently upgraded to BitDefender Antivirus 2010, and I have a problem with this antivirus and one game, Batman Arkham Aslyum. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 圆4, an Intel i7 920 processor, a Radeon 5870 graphics card, 6 Gb of DDR3 RAM and a Gigabyte EX-58 Montherboard. Anyone has any ideas or confirmation that the GOTY version will or definitely will not work via external would be greatly appreciated.Hi all, after two years using BitDefender Antivirus, and with only 8 days left on current subscription, this is the first time I have encountered a problem. I know it's not the end of the world, but it's just really annoying me to have this one game not work via external. Let it sit for like an hour once, just to make sure it wasn't just taking a long time. System isn't frozen up or anything, hitting the PS button on the controller lets me get back to the XMB. Game just goes to a black screen after the video mode switches from 1080p in the XMB to 720p for the game. Recopied the game back over a few times in case the copy was bad, but nothing changes. Tried with a disc in, without a disc in, game has no files too big for FAT32. Same with all my other games that work fine.ĬFW is Rebug 4.46.1 REX. I've been using Multiman (latest version) to copy the game from internal to external. The one thing about GOTY I could find by googling suggested that someone had it working via external, but not internal, opposite of what's going on for me.Īll other games I've tried work fine off the same usb drive, so I don't think that's the issue. ![]() Please note it's Arkham Asylum, not Arkham City, I know it's easy to get them mixed up when just glancing at a title.Īnyone have any idea why this one game won't run off my usb external? It runs fine off internal, and compatibility lists only seem to list the regular version, not GOTY, but say it works. ![]()
